Saudi Arabia to Participate in G20 Trade Ministers Meeting in 2026

Milwaukee:Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Foreign Trade Majid Al-Kassabi will lead Saudi Arabia's delegation to the G20 Trade Ministers Meeting, scheduled from September 30 to October 1, 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the G20 Trade and Investment Working Group will focus on four main priorities ending forced labor, upholding the most-favored-nation principle, curbing the weaponization of food, and discussing solutions for addressing excess production capacity.

The United States will host the G20 meetings in 2026, with an agenda centered on economic growth, energy abundance, and the removal of unnecessary barriers. Over the five-year period from 2021 to 2025, Saudi Arabia's trade with G20 countries amounted to approximately $2.3 trillion.
