Saudi Arabia’s First Culinary Innovation Lab Inaugurated at Alfaisal University in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Culinary Arts Commission has inaugurated the Culinary Innovation Lab at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, marking a milestone in advancing food research, promoting sustainability, and fostering creativity in the culinary arts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the lab serves as an advanced center for research and development, bridging science, culture, and innovation. It provides chefs, scientists, and entrepreneurs with a shared space to explore new solutions in food safety, nutrition, and sustainable production, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a thriving, knowledge-based economy.

The establishment of the lab comes within the framework of the National Culture Strategy and aligns with the commission’s mandate to promote innovation in culinary production and services as part of the sector’s overall development.
