Riyadh: Saudi camel racers Ahmed Al-Juhani and Aziz Al-Huwaiti have secured their spots in the final of the camel racing competition at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), which will take place on Friday at the Janadriyah racecourse. Al-Juhani earned his place after finishing first in the 2km qualifying heats with a time of 3:15.198 minutes, while Al-Huwaiti claimed third with a time of 3:23.765 minutes.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in athletics, Saudi runner Faisal Maghrabi qualified for the 800m final, scheduled for the same day, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City. Maghrabi secured his spot after clocking 1:49.47 minutes in today’s heats. Meanwhile, Abdulaziz Attafi advanced to the 200m final, set for tomorrow, after winning his heat with a time of 20.60 seconds.
