Riyadh– The Saudi-Azerbaijani Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, headed by Dr. Faiz bin Abdullah Al-Shehri, Member of the Shura Council and Head of the committee, held here today a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom Shahin bin Shaker Abdullayev.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Al-Shehri hailed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, affirming the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen and develop the two countries’ relations to serve the interests of both countries.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan praised the level of relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation at the parliamentary level.
