Saudi Biology National Team Collects 2 Prizes at World Biology Olympiad 2022 in Armenia

Riyadh, The Saudi Biology National Team has collected two prizes at the 33rd World Biology Olympiad 2022 which started in Armenia on July 10, 2022, it was reported here today.

In a statement to SPA, Acting Secretary General of King Abdulaziz and his Companions for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa said that 237 students from 64 countries took part in the event which wraps up tomorrow, Monday.

Yazan Al-Maghrabi, affiliated to a secondary school in Jeddah province, won a silver prize while Nawaf Al-Mitairi who belongs to a secondary school in the Eastern Province was awarded a certificate of merit.

Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa attributed the continuous successes the Saudi female and male students are achieving in international academic and scientific contests to the care they receive from the Saudi prudent leadership.
