Islamabad: The Saudi Embassy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan supervised the handover of a donation made by a Saudi company investing in Pakistan to assist people affected by the catastrophic floods. The handover took place during a ceremony hosted by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki at the embassy’s headquarters in Islamabad, in the presence of representatives from Saudi companies and the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Malki explained that the donation consisted of 5,000 liters of gasoline provided by Wafi Energy Company to NDMA, to support ongoing relief efforts in areas affected by the devastating floods across several Pakistani provinces.
