Saudi Embassy in US Participates in Sports Diplomacy Summit

Washington: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United States participated in the Sports Diplomacy Summit in Washington, engaging with government officials, diplomats, and leaders from the sports and business sectors. The summit was part of ongoing international discussions in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the embassy was represented by Director of Public Diplomacy and Media Affairs Hessa Alyahya, who joined other diplomats and international officials. The discussions centered on the role of sport in fostering international cooperation, promoting economic growth, and strengthening ties among nations.

During the summit, the Saudi embassy underscored the Kingdom's efforts to promote cultural exchange and international engagement through sport. It also highlighted the rapid development of Saudi Arabia's sports sector under Vision 2030 and the Kingdom's involvement in hosting major international sporting events.
