Los angeles: The U.S.-Saudi Business Council, in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the Ministry of Investment, organized a forum at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, California, to explore opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum brought together senior Saudi officials, representatives of major projects, and leaders from the U.S. entertainment sector. Discussions highlighted partnership and investment opportunities in one of the Kingdom’s fastest-growing sectors.
The program included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and meetings that provided participants with the opportunity to engage directly with decision-makers in the entertainment industry.
Several Saudi entities took part, including the General Entertainment Authority, the Ministry of Investment, and the New Murabba Project. These entities presented the features of the Kingdom’s rapidly expanding entertainment ecosystem, which includes cultural destinations, theme parks, major festivals, and large-scale urban projects.
Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector has experienced rapid growth in recent years, attracting 76.9 million visitors to events in 2024. Major projects such as Qiddiya, Diriyah, and King Salman Park are underway and will host world-class entertainment and cultural facilities.
Flagship festivals such as Riyadh Season, MDLBEAST Soundstorm, and Jeddah Season continue to draw international audiences and global performers. Leading U.S. companies, including Warner Bros. Discovery and Six Flags, are engaged in joint ventures with Saudi partners, reflecting the promising potential of cooperation in advancing the Kingdom’s ambitious vision for the entertainment sector.
