Saudi Initiatives in Urban Development Shine at World Urban Forum in Baku

Baku: Government, private, and non-profit entities participating in the Saudi pavilion at the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), organized by UN-Habitat and currently being held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, showcased Saudi initiatives and projects in urban development and sustainable housing.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion featured dialogue sessions and workshops where participants presented the Saudi experience in city development and improvements in quality of life. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to promote urban sustainability and smart solutions in the municipal and housing sectors, aligning with the ambitious targets set by Saudi Vision 2030.

The pavilion highlights leading national experiences in urban planning, architectural identity, housing, municipal investment, and smart technologies. This reinforces Saudi Arabia's position as a global model in integrated urban development, demonstrating its commitment to innovative urban planning and sustainable growth.
