Saudi-Italian Investment and Business Forum Held in Riyadh: Focus on Economic Cooperation and Investment Opportunities


Riyadh: The Ministry of Investment, in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, organized the Saudi-Italian Investment and Business Forum in Riyadh. The event was attended by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani. The forum attracted over 1,500 participants, including representatives from more than 600 Italian companies.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum is part of a series of joint investment meetings and forums between Saudi Arabia and Italy, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties. These efforts include high-level engagements between the leadership of both nations. The forum focused on exploring economic cooperation and discussed recent developments in the Saudi economy, highlighting major projects and advanced infrastructure. These discussions showcased the opportunities available for both the public and private sectors.



A significant outcome of the forum was the signing of 22 investment agreements between Saudi and Italian entities. These agreements span various key sectors such as telecommunications, IT, trade, tourism, healthcare, agriculture, water, culture, and sports, indicating a strong commitment to fostering mutual growth and collaboration.
