Saudi National Team Begins US Training Camp for FIFA World Cup 2026

Riyadh: The Saudi national football team departed Riyadh today for the United States to begin its training camp in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first phase of the training program will be held in New York City until May 31 and will include a friendly match against Ecuador next Saturday. The second phase of the camp will take place in Austin, Texas, and continue until June 9. During this stage, the team will play two friendly matches against Puerto Rico on June 5 and Senegal on June 9.

The team will officially enter the tournament phase on June 10 and will be based in Austin during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Saudi Arabia was drawn in Group H of the FIFA World Cup 2026 alongside Spain, Uruguay, and Cabo Verde.
