Saudi national team coach after his country’s exit from the Gulf 25: We are sad that we left Basra in such a short time

Baghdad - The Coach of the Saudi national team, Saad Al-Shehri, said after his country's exit from the Gulf 25 tournament: We are sad that we left Basra in a short time, and we hope for more brilliance for Iraq in organizing tournaments in the coming days.

Al-Shehri added in a press conference: A successful tournament by all standards, indicating that the Iraqi and Sultanate of Oman national teams are most ready to achieve the championship.

Al-Shehri added: We tried to take possession of the ball and organize defensively, and the changes had an offensive risk to achieve victory, but we were keen on continuing the performance and until the last moment we were close to achieving a good result.

Saudi Arabia lost to Oman with two goals to one.
