Saudi National Team Wraps Up Austin Training, Heads to Miami for FIFA World Cup Opener

Austin: The Saudi Arabian national football team concluded its preparations on Saturday with a closed training session at 4:00 p.m. at Q2 Stadium in Austin before departing for Miami, Florida, where it will face Uruguay in its opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team held their training session at Q2 Stadium under the supervision of head coach Georgios Donis. The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by possession drills and tactical work, before the coach conducted a practice match on one-third of the pitch. Training concluded with set-piece exercises as the team finalized preparations for the tournament opener.
