Riyadh: Acting President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Ali bin Abdullah Alzaid signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with President of the Senegalese News Agency (APS) Momar Diongue today to facilitate news exchange between the two agencies. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in news exchange and strengthen the relationship between the two friendly countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU establishes a groundwork for collaboration in news exchange as part of the relationship between the two friendly countries. The two sides addressed various media issues, alongside a conversation regarding the overall framework of the memorandum.
The APS President visited several SPA departments, including editing, electronic media, photography, production, translation, foreign bulletins, and the media centre, where he was briefed on the mechanism of producing news content. He also visited the “SPA News Academy”, where he listened to an explanation about its goals in qualifying media cadres through applied programs and international and local partnerships.
The APS President visited the “Saudi Arabia’s History Exhibition” at the SPA’s headquarters and was briefed on the exhibition’s pavilions, which depict the phases of the Saudi State’s history and the Kingdom’s successful present and bright future.
