Geneva: President of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA), Jalal Al-Owaisi, led the authority's delegation at the 55th meeting of the Governing Board of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. This participation underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing international humanitarian cooperation. According to Saudi Press Agency, the IFRC Governing Board consists of 20 members from various countries, playing a critical role in shaping the federation's strategic directions and addressing important international humanitarian issues. The board's efforts contribute significantly to responding to humanitarian challenges across more than 191 countries. Al-Owaisi highlighted the significance of the authority's active involvement in the board's activities, emphasizing its dedication to international humanitarian collaboration and knowledge exchange with national societies and humanitarian organizations.
