Riyadh:The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) and Tahaluf Events Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to organize the Red Sea Yacht Show, with the inaugural event planned for 2027. SRSA will serve as the government sponsor for the event. According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed during the Monaco Yacht Show by Abdullah Alharbi, SRSA Executive Vice President for Business Development and Marketing, and Abdulaziz Alghurayr, Tahaluf Executive Vice President for Government Partnerships and Event Logistics. The partnership aims to establish the Red Sea Yacht Show as a prominent international platform to showcase investment and business opportunities in the yachting, marina, and marine-services sectors. It is expected to enhance connections between yacht owners, industry service providers, investors, and other key stakeholders, thereby boosting the Red Sea's attractiveness as a tourism and investment destination. As part of the agreement, SRSA and Tahaluf will coordinate with government a nd regulatory authorities to facilitate yacht participation, ensuring compliance with relevant mandates and regulations. They will also consider creating a single point of contact to assist participants with regulatory and operational processes. The collaboration will focus on attracting both Saudi and international companies to the show and will support industry workshops, briefings, and content programs. Themes will include sector regulations, marine environmental protection, and investment opportunities in marinas and marine services. Through this initiative, SRSA and Tahaluf aim to foster the growth of Saudi Arabia's yachting and marine tourism sector, enhance the Red Sea's investment appeal, and contribute to the Kingdom's coastal economy.
