Riyadh: The Saudi Science and Engineering Team arrived at King Khalid International Airport, where members received a warm reception following their distinguished participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2026, held in Phoenix from May 9 to 15. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team, consisting of 40 students, including 23 who participated in person in Phoenix and 17 who participated remotely from Riyadh, won 24 international awards, including 12 grand awards and 12 special awards. The achievement reinforces the Kingdom's presence at the world's largest forum for pre-university scientific research and innovation projects. The Kingdom secured first place globally in computational biology and informatics. It maintained its second-place global ranking after the United States for the third consecutive year, continuing its record of success in international scientific competitions and forums.
