According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi national team exited the 2026 World Cup in the first round. They garnered two points and finished fourth in Group H behind Uruguay on goal difference. The team's performance included a 1-1 draw with Uruguay, a 4-0 loss to Spain, and a 0-0 draw with Cape Verde.
