Saudi Stock Exchange Closes Lower Amid Market Volatility

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange main stock index closed lower today, losing 79.39 points to reach 11,158.54 points, with total transactions amounting to SAR3.5 billion and a traded volume of 192 million shares.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) also witnessed a decline, losing 26.52 points to settle at 21,771.14 points. Transactions on the NOMU were valued at SAR22 million, with a traded volume exceeding two million shares.

Market analysts are closely monitoring the fluctuations and are assessing the potential impacts on future trading sessions. The current trend highlights ongoing volatility in the market, reflecting broader economic factors and investor sentiment.
