Riyadh: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has enhanced its technical readiness as part of efforts to facilitate the departure of pilgrims following the completion of the 1447 AH Hajj season. The authority strengthened the technical preparedness of land, sea, and air ports and provided comprehensive support to ensure smooth departure procedures and deliver technology-driven services to pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, SDAIA's engineering teams completed periodic testing of communication circuits across various technologies and carried out preventive maintenance of technical components. These efforts helped ensure that pilgrims' departure procedures are completed efficiently and seamlessly.

The efforts reflect SDAIA's ongoing role in leveraging data and artificial intelligence (AI) to support the Hajj ecosystem in coordination with relevant government entities. They contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, improving technical services at ports, and enabling pilgrims to complete their journey home with ease and peace of mind.
