Riyadh: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) honored the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) for achieving a distinguished level of compliance with data management and governance practices. According to Saudi Press Agency, Acting Governor of GAMI Bandar Alkhorayef received the award from President of the National Data Management Office at SDAIA Alrebdi Fahad Alrebdi, during his visit to GAMI's headquarters. The recognition reflects GAMI's efforts to develop its data management and governance framework and to achieve a leading level of compliance with national data governance policies, as well as with 2025 national controls and specifications for data management, governance, and personal data protection. It was granted based on the results of GAMI's compliance assessment against the regulatory instruments issued by SDAIA. GAMI has invested in adopting the latest technologies and specialized projects in data management, including introducing a dedicated data management strategy and program a nd establishing relevant policies, procedures, and standards. It has also implemented advanced technological solutions to enhance data reliability and manage it efficiently and effectively.
