The Security Media Cell announced the launch of the border inspection process separating the Operations Commands (west of Nineveh - Salah El-Din - Al-Jazeera).

A statement by the Cell stated that: “Based on the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, to maintain pressure on the defeated terrorist elements and outlaws to enhance security and stability within the responsibility sectors, especially the protection of electric power towers, and under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, it launched this morning, Saturday, the process of inspecting the border separating the operations commands (west of Nineveh - Salah al-Din - al-Jazeera).

It added: "The West Nineveh Operations Command, through (the 15th and 20th Infantry Divisions - the Border Guard Command, the sixth region - and the Popular Mobilization Units) has embarked on the duty of inspecting and clearing Hatra Island and the separating borders with the Commands of Salah al-Din and al-Jazeera within the sector of responsibility. As for the Salah al-Din Operations Command, it has the 21st Division and the units attached to it through (Infantry Brigade 91-95) and (Swat Regiment Salah al-Din Governorate Police Command) began the duty of searching Wadi Tharthar and the villages east of Wadi Tharthar.

For its part, Al- Jazeera Operations Command, through (the 7th Infantry Division - Commando Commando Brigade) and the units attached to it and the 57th Brigade of the Tribal Mobilization Forces, embarked on the duty of searching and searching places towards the separating border with the West Nineveh Operations Command.
