SFD Participates in Groundbreaking Ceremony for Prince Faisal Hospital Expansion Project in Jordan

Qatif: In the presence of the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Jaafar Hassan, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan Al-Marshad participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion and modernization of Prince Faisal Hospital in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a project financed by the SFD with a grant of approximately $14 million from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project aims to support beneficiary communities by expanding and modernizing Prince Faisal Hospital, rehabilitating the existing building, and constructing a four-storey extension with a total area exceeding 8,000 square meters.

This will increase capacity and enhance the efficiency and quality of health and operational services, including a rapid medical response and an evacuation helipad, while developing medical infrastructure in line with the highest approved engineering and technical standards to meet population growth and basic needs.
