SFDA CEO Inspects Jeddah Facilities

Jeddah: CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham Aljadhey has conducted an inspection visit to several facilities in Jeddah, including the authority’s branch office, to monitor operational progress and ensure effectiveness in safeguarding product safety.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Aljadhey was briefed on laboratory initiatives focused on detecting mycotoxins, such as aflatoxin, which can arise from improper storage conditions.

He underscored the importance of employing qualified personnel and utilizing advanced equipment to prevent non-compliant products from entering local markets.

He also emphasized the authority’s commitment to improving service quality and enhancing the customer experience, in line with its ongoing efforts to elevate performance standards.
