SFDA, Charitable Societies and Institutions Discuss Ways of Raising Awareness of Food Safety and Healthy Nutrition

Riyadh: Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has hosted at its headquarters in the capital, Riyadh a number of charitable and specialized associations and institutions in the Kingdom, in the presence of the chairmen and secretaries of the associations’ boards of directors.

FDA aims through these meetings to build bridges of communication, raise awareness of food safety and healthy nutrition and highlight the possible aspects of cooperation.

The SFDA’s CEO, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, stressed the importance of the role of institutions, associations and non-profit agencies to contribute to enhancing human health, reducing the burden of chronic diseases, and reducing deaths resulting from these diseases.

He added that we constantly work on achieving an integrated health system that reflects positively on the health of all, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
