SFDA participates in international gathering to harmonize technical needs for human medicines (ICH)

Riyadh– Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has participated in the 45th semi-annual meeting of the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH), which was held in Incheon, South Korea, with the participation of Saudi specialists and experts.

The Saudi delegation participating in the various technical committees was headed by SFDA Executive Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Sector, Dr. Adel Al-Harf, in the presence of more than 30 members of the Legislative Council representing global regulatory authorities and pharmaceutical industrial groups.

The General Assembly of the Council discussed the progress of the work of the existing working groups, and voted to approve the joining of the Tunisian National Agency for Medicine and Health Products as an observer member, discussing the proposed budgets of the Council during the next five years and approving the plans presented in training for the member states.
