Shura Council Speaker Meets Jordanian Prime Minister in Amman

The Speaker of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh, in Amman. The meeting was also attended by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Al-Safadi, as part of the official visit by the Speaker of the Shura Council to Jordan with a delegation from the Shura Council.

During the meeting, Al-Khasawneh emphasized the solid fraternal relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which enjoy the great keenness and attention of the leadership of both countries. He underscored the deep historical ties between the two nations.

Al Al-Sheikh reiterated the depth of the sincere relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, as well as the ongoing efforts to strengthen these relations and implement the wise visions of the two leaderships in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and addresses their common issues.

The meeting also involved discussions on ways to enhance relations between the two countries and covered various topics of mutual interest.

In attendance at the meeting were members of the official delegation accompanying the Speaker of the Shura Council, along with members of the Saudi council and the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan.
