Riyadh: Vice Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami met today with the European Parliament's Delegation for Relations with the Arab Peninsula, led by Reinhold Lopatka. The meeting was part of the delegation's official visit to Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation expressed its support for the Kingdom and condemned the actions of the Houthi militia and the Iranian attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. They emphasized the importance of unrestricted freedom of navigation in the region.

The discussions also focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the European Parliament. Both sides explored ways to strengthen their collaboration and addressed several topics of mutual interest.
