Somali Prime Minister, Saudi Development Fund Chief Discuss Enhancing Collaboration

Jeddah: Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre and Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Chief Executive Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad met in Somalia on Wednesday, discussing ways to enhance development collaboration between the two sides.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting highlighted the SFD’s efforts to fund development projects and programs across various vital sectors in Somalia, which began in 1977 to promote the nation’s social development and economic prosperity.

Several Somali ministers and Saudi Ambassador Ahmed Al-Mawlid attended the meeting.
