Speaker of Shura Council, Speaker of Moroccan House of Councillors, Hold Talks Session

Rabat– Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh held in the Moroccan capital Rabat today an official session of talks with Speaker of the Moroccan House of Councillors Al-Naam Mayara.

During the talks session, they discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco. They also stressed the importance of enhancing joint bilateral work and cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially the parliamentary field between the Shura Council and the Moroccan House of Councillors, and the need to activate the roles of the joint parliamentary friendship committees.

Following the talks session, the Speaker of the Shura Council and the Speaker of the Moroccan House of Councillors signed a memorandum of understanding between the two councils aimed at providing a framework for enhancing cooperation and continuous interaction between the two sides.

The memorandum of understanding signed between the two councils includes encouraging the exchange of parliamentary delegations, intensifying and developing bilateral cooperation between the two sides, through the exchange of points of view and regular dialogue. It also includes building cooperation and regular dialogue between the two sides in many fields, and exchange experiences in the field of research, studies and information.
