Riyadh:Minister of Sport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mahd Sports Academy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, has inaugurated the academy’s main building and athlete residence. This initiative aims to support the identification and development of athletic talent.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the newly inaugurated three-story administrative building spans 4,380 square meters. It features offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms, a talent identification laboratory, and an audiovisual theater.

The athlete residence, also three stories high, covers 1,558 square meters and includes 54 hotel-style rooms that can accommodate up to 108 athletes. It offers dining and lounge facilities along with round-the-clock operational and supervisory services.

These facilities are designed to support the academy’s efforts to enhance services and foster the sporting and educational development of athletes.
