Alak Meets A Delegation From China Construction Engineering Company. Confirms Providing Facilities To Companies And Support Their Work In Iraqi
BAGHDAD, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alak confirmed providing possible facilities for companies and support their work in Iraq to upgrade the housing sector.
In a statement to the Cabinet Secretariat, Al-Alak and during a meeting with the delegation of the China Construction Engineering Company (CSCEC), welcomed "Chinese companies' expanding the scope of investment in Iraq." He expressed the aspiration of the Iraqi government "to expand the scope of Iraqi-Chinese cooperation in all fields.
He called on the Chinese company during the meeting to "see the investment opportunities in the Investment Authority and provide a preliminary report detailed on the output of their meetings with the Ministry of Housing and the Investment Authority and on funding models."
For his part, the Chinese delegation gave a detailed presentation on their most important work and future plans, stressing their desire to work and cooperate in Iraq and engage in all development and construction projects according to the priorities set by the Iraqi government.
"The company has a long history of construction, housing construction, international contracting, real estate development, investment, infrastructure construction, prospecting and design as the largest national construction company in developing countries and the world's largest housing construction company since 2007."
