Makkah: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) raised its operational readiness to full capacity during Eid Al-Adha with intensive field deployment across Makkah and the holy sites to provide emergency medical services for pilgrims during peak movement associated with the stoning ritual and Tawaf Al-Ifadah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the plan included an integrated emergency response system comprising fixed centers, field deployment points, rapid response units, ambulance motorcycles, and pedestrian teams to ensure faster access to cases in high-density areas during the Eid Al-Adha period.

Ambulances equipped with modern medical technologies were also deployed alongside volunteer teams as part of a coordinated system operating with government entities serving pilgrims.

The operational plan is based on readiness and field integration to enhance pilgrims' safety and facilitate the performance of their rituals.
