Najran: Staff at the command-and-control center of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) branch in Najran Region continue to provide around-the-clock ambulance services during Ramadan, including at iftar time.
According to Saudi Press Agency, from inside the technologically equipped command-and-control center, the process of receiving and responding to emergency calls is managed through a system that precisely identifies incident locations and dispatches ambulance teams promptly across Najran and its governorates.
The branch stated that it has prepared an operational plan for Ramadan to enhance ambulance readiness, including intensified deployment of teams in congested areas, particularly during iftar time, while affirming the preparedness of qualified personnel supported by a fleet of ambulances equipped with the latest medical devices.
It added that ambulance services can be requested via the emergency number (997) or through the 'ESEFNI' application, which allows users to submit a report, track its status, determine location, and view the nearest healthcare facilities.
The branch also reported receiving 789 emergency calls since the beginning of February, including 665 medical cases and 124 traffic accidents. Najran Region is served by 17 ambulance centers that operate around the clock, staffed by specialized personnel.
