Jeddah: Strong dust-stirring winds are set to impact parts of the Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk regions, causing potential disruptions in these areas. The weather forecast for Tuesday also indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a chance of light rain in Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions, which may extend to parts of the highlands of the Makkah region. Additionally, fog formation is expected in several areas, including parts of Al-Jouf, Northern Border, Riyadh, Qassim, and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction and speed throughout the day. The northern part will experience easterly to northeasterly winds, which will shift to northerly to northwesterly in the evening with speeds between 16-38 km/h. In contrast, the central and southern parts will see southeasterly to easterly winds reaching 18-45 km/h. Sea conditions are expected to range from calm to choppy, with wave heights varying from half a meter to over two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds will prevail at speeds of 20-40 km/h. The sea is anticipated to be relatively calm to choppy, with wave heights between one and two meters. Residents and maritime operators are advised to stay informed of the changing weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
