Khartoum, The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Maryam Al-Sadiq met here today with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Karim Khan, currently on a visit to Sudan.

During the meeting, the minister confirmed cooperation with the ICC to achieve justice for the victims of Darfur war, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work to facilitate its tasks in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed with the court.

For his part, the ICC Prosecutor affirmed his keenness to cooperate with Sudan in order to achieve justice, and thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its cooperation and facilitation of the tasks of the Court to implement the terms of the memorandum of understanding signed last February to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
