Syrian Defense Minister Announces Road Map for Armed Forces Stabilization

Damascus: Syrian Interim Government’s Minister of Defense, Murhaf Abu Qasra, has announced the commencement of sessions with military factions aiming to establish a comprehensive road map for integrating these groups into the Ministry of Defense. This initiative is part of efforts to stabilize the organizational structure of the armed forces.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Abu Qasra highlighted that the sessions are designed to develop a road map that will lead to stability within the armed forces’ organizational framework. The process is in alignment with the directives from the General Command, which seeks to restructure and better organize the Syrian Arab Army.

The move signifies a strategic attempt by the Syrian Interim Government to unify military efforts and enhance the efficiency of its defense operations. This development marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to stabilize Syria’s defense mechanisms.
