Jeddah: Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani met today with Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Director of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission Dr. Hadi Al-Yami and his accompanying delegation: The meeting focused on exploring potential collaboration between Syria and the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the OIC.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions centered around promoting and protecting human rights, exchanging expertise in legal and institutional areas, and enhancing cooperation on humanitarian and human rights issues. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening their ties to address these critical areas effectively.
