Tabuk:The Tabuk Region Municipality has undertaken preventive maintenance on its stormwater drainage networks, wadis, and culverts in anticipation of the upcoming rainy season. This initiative aims to enhance drainage efficiency and decrease water accumulation on roads and in residential areas.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the maintenance work involved cleaning and maintaining 332,000 linear meters of surface drainage lines and 6,561 manholes and catch basins. Additionally, more than 221,000 square meters of wadi beds were leveled and cleared of debris, and 20 culverts received servicing. Crews also prioritized leveling 19 manholes and catch basins to improve rainwater intake and ensure road safety.

The municipality emphasized that maintaining drainage networks is a crucial aspect of their operational plans. These efforts are intended to mitigate flooding, safeguard public safety and property, and enhance city services.
