Taif: The tourism experience in Taif Governorate is no longer limited to visiting highlands and enjoying its mild climate. It has evolved into an integrated destination combining rural, environmental, and recreational tourism, reflecting the governorate’s diverse natural and cultural assets while offering visitors multiple experiences in one place.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in recent years, Taif has witnessed growth in rural resorts and lodges that utilize the mountainous environment and surrounding farms to provide immersive experiences, including nature-based stays, agricultural activities, cultural and artistic events, fruit-picking tours, and family programs that highlight local heritage.

Environmental tourism has also emerged as a promising sector, offering wildlife exploration, bird watching, safari experiences, and mountain trails that combine recreation with environmental awareness.

Tourism specialist Bassem Ahmed told the Saudi Press Agency that Taif’s diverse offerings allow visitors to experience mountains, farms, heritage markets, and entertainment facilities within a single trip, strengthening tourism growth and investment.
