Taif: Taif University has secured a place in the U.S. News and World Report 2026 - 2027 Best Global Universities list for the second consecutive year. The university ranked 497th globally and 130th in Asia. It also secured seventh place among Saudi universities and achieved 12th place worldwide in the International Collaboration Index (ICI).

According to Saudi Press Agency, several of the university's academic disciplines attained distinguished positions in the global rankings. Polymer science ranked 48th worldwide, optical physics placed 88th, and plant and animal sciences ranked 92nd, positioning all three disciplines among the world's top 100.

Taif University stated that this achievement reflects its ongoing efforts to advance scientific research, foster innovation, strengthen international cooperation, and attract distinguished research talent, contributing to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
