TGA Confirms Red Sea Attack on Saudi Vessel NCC MASA Causing Minor Hull Damage

Riyadh: An official source at the Transport General Authority (TGA) stated that the Saudi vessel NCC MASA, operated by a Saudi company, was targeted while sailing in the Red Sea today, July 24, 2026, resulting in minor damage to its hull. The vessel continued its voyage to its destination after the safety of the crew and vessel had been confirmed.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the TGA source emphasized that the continued targeting of commercial vessels constitutes a violation of international laws and norms that guarantee the safety of commercial ships and their crews.
