The Council of Ministers holds its 30th regular session, headed by Al-Sudani, and issues a number of decisions / Expanded

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired the 30th regular session of the Council of Ministers.

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, "Al-Sudani directed the formation of a committee of professors of international law, to study the preparation of a draft law against hatred adopted by Iraq in order to present it to international organizations and forums, due to the seriousness of this matter, which Iraq paid the price for previously due to waves of terrorism, hatred and incitement."

The statement added, "The Foreign Minister gave an explanation about Iraq's important role in combating hate speech and the repercussions of burning the Holy Qur'an, in addition to reviewing the topic of the next meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference."

During the session, according to the statement, they discussed developments in the general situation in the country, and work to accelerate the pace of implementation of the priorities of the government program, in addition to discussing the topics on the agenda, and issuing decisions and recommendations related to them.

The session witnessed the approval of a draft law on official holidays, and its referral to the House of Representatives, based on the provisions of the constitution.
