Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved the awarding of the King Abdulaziz Medal (Third Class) to 200 Saudi citizens in recognition of their donation of a major organ, whether from living donors or those declared brain-dead.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this decision highlights the kingdom's commitment to encouraging and honoring acts of organ donation, which play a crucial role in saving lives. The King Abdulaziz Medal is one of the esteemed awards in Saudi Arabia, symbolizing appreciation and gratitude towards individuals who have made significant contributions to the well-being of others.
