Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of Jordan's Independence Day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, King Salman expressed his wishes for King Abdullah's continued good health and happiness. He also conveyed hopes for steady progress and prosperity for the government and people of Jordan.

King Salman highlighted the strong brotherly relations binding Saudi Arabia and Jordan, emphasizing the joint efforts to strengthen and develop these relations across all fields.
