The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the international community, called for real international pressure to force the Israeli government to stop all its illegal unilateral measures, curb the settler militias and their terrorist organizations, dismantle them, and dry up their sources of funding.
In a press statement today, Sunday, the Foreign Ministry condemned the escalation in the attacks and crimes of the occupation forces, settler militias, and their terrorist elements against Palestinian citizens, their land, property, homes, and sanctities, the most recent of which were terrorist attacks by settlers under the protection of the occupation forces on defenseless civilians in the town of Qasra, south of Nablus, and their attacks on sheep herders in Al-Mughayir village, east of Ramallah, in addition to cutting down and uprooting 74 olive trees in the town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah.
The Israeli government, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, held full and direct responsibility for the assaults and attacks of settler militias and their dangerous consequences on the battlefield.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the weakness and decline of international reactions and positions towards the settlers’ crimes and orgies, and the failure to implement United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue perpetuate the occupation, deepen the cycles of the apartheid system, and encourage the extremist settlers and their terrorist organizations to commit more attacks on Palestinian citizens.
She stressed that the protection and immunity provided by some major countries to the occupying state ensures its continued impunity and deepens the injustice and persecution imposed on the Palestinian people and the theft of more of their land for the benefit of settlement to complete the annexation of the West Bank. It also undermines any opportunity to embody the Palestinian state on the ground with East Jerusalem as its capital, which leads to a decisive decision. The future of the final solution issues will be negotiated unilaterally, by the occupying force, and in accordance with its map of colonial interests
