The Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent today, Wednesday a call and an urgent appeal to the Iraqi community in Sudan.

Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf said in a statement, "In implementation of the scheduled evacuation trip that the Emergency Diplomatic Response Operations Room in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on, we call on the Iraqi community in Sudan to gather at Port Sudan Airport, on Sunday, 6/18/2023 at 6: am for the purpose of evacuating them to the homeland.”

The spokesman called on the community to exercise caution while moving from their homes to the specified location.
