The Joint Operations Command revealed the preparation and work of joint security centers with the Kurdistan region.

The Spokesman for the Operations Command, Major General Tahsin Al-Khafaji, said in a statement to NINA that 6 security centers have been opened for joint work between the federal forces and the Kurdistan Region Guard forces, and they have started their work, and they include officers from the Peshmerga forces and the Joint Operations Command, and there are officers from the Ministry of Peshmerga working in the Joint Operations Command, on the other hand, there are officers from the Joint Operations Command working in the Ministry of Peshmerga, for the purpose of security coordination.

Al-Khafaji explained that the cooperation and security relationship between the Joint Operations Command and the Ministry of Peshmerga are very developed, in the field of coordination and security and intelligence work for the purpose of combating terrorism and armed groups, and to fill gaps in areas of common interest as well as on the borders with Turkey.

He expressed his hope that the federal budget would be approved soon so that we would witness the birth of two new brigades to hold areas of common interest, in order to contribute to addressing many security gaps in those areas, so that they are closed and combat terrorism.
