The Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces concluded a joint security operation, which it carried out in the west of the province.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated that the operation was launched under the direct direction of the operations Commander, Khadir al-Matrouhi, with the participation of the force of the 21st Brigade in the Popular Mobilization / the second regiment, the fourth regiment, intelligence, the support battalion, explosive detachments, medical and communications in the brigade, the movements and intelligence of the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization, and the 25th Brigade in the crowd with the army and army aviation.

The operation included searching the areas of Hatra district and Hatra island to pursue ISIS remnants.

The operation successfully achieved its set objectives after finding guesthouses for terrorists, which were processed by explosive detachments.
