Head of the Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zaidan and Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Al-Miqdad stressed today, Sunday, the depth of relations between Iraq and Syria and the importance of strengthening them in various fields.

The Judicial Council said in a statement, "The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, Faisal al-Miqdad, and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him the completion of the discussions that the President of the Council held during his recent visit to Syria."

It added that "the two sides emphasized the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the importance of strengthening these relations in all fields."
